Architects, engineers, developers, facility managers, and many other stakeholders in the construction industry are familiar with the effort involved in managing and overseeing workflows, service delivery, inspections, site visits, documentation, and final acceptance.

Construction sector managers coordinate the alignment of quality in the planning phase with the actual execution of all construction work. The daily effort required for documentation and tracking is notoriously enormous.

Drawing on 25 years of experience as practicing architects, we offer an innovative solution for managing the multitude of tasks and their automated distribution to subcontractors.

FOLW simplifies the handling of all tasks during site visits by allowing the responsible party to record all tasks in FOLW as tickets. In addition to integrated photo documentation, they can select from various parameters they have previously configured and save the ticket. Depending on the trade, they then assign the ticket to their respective subcontractor. The assignment of the task or documentation is automatically recognized by the subcontractor.

Because the ticket is located within the PDF floor plan, it is easier for the subcontractor to identify the corresponding task, complete it on time, and report it digitally via FOLW.

With FOLW, the responsible party can distribute all tasks, such as defects, outstanding work, change orders, notes, logs, documentation, or acceptances, directly at the site. This eliminates the need for time-consuming processing and mailing of all notes in the office.

Empirically, the savings from processing and mailing all notes amount to approximately 1.5 to 2.0 hours per day. The average monthly savings is around 35 hours. Assuming an hourly rate of €100, your savings will be approximately €3,500 per month.

Planning offices, construction companies, and facility management firms can significantly reduce their operating costs.

The revolutionary aspect is the system of rating all services provided to subcontractors via "likes." With the appropriate permissions, in-house colleagues can view and rate other colleagues' tickets. This fosters competition, strengthens teamwork, and promotes high-quality project execution.

This "like" system also ensures higher quality in the subcontractor's work. As the project progresses, the subcontractor strives for consistently excellent work. Everyone involved in the construction process knows that only consistently satisfactory performance generates repeat business. This applies to both parties.

The innovative user interface ensures a smooth and efficient project management process. Photos can be viewed later via the Reels section. Here, likes can be given or tickets can be saved to your own account. FOLW's well-designed interface supports the seamless handling of complex and diverse tasks.

Tickets can also be sent via WhatsApp. Subcontractors who do not use FOLW will still be informed just-in-time.

The management of larger companies is always informed about the progress of projects. Tickets from all responsible site managers can be viewed centrally. FOLW significantly reduces internal communication and response times; the same applies to external business partners.

Consolidating order processing as a core element and integrating external service providers through the evaluation tool is a key component of FOLW.

Management has a strong interest in a comprehensive overview of all ongoing processes. Architects in charge of construction and project managers responsible for the site are equally expected to ensure smooth internal processes. Subcontractors are expected to deliver consistently satisfactory results.

All project participants benefit from the collaborative spirit, saving time and avoiding unforeseen costs. FOLW brings together essential elements that belong together.
